One key to my coaching is pushing people beyond their comfort zone.

I love thought experiments, and I will challenge your thinking if you let me. But I never ask you to do anything you’re not comfortable with.

This is your journey, and I would only ask you to do something that you’re comfortable with. Your actions need to be in alignment with your beliefs and your choices, so if you aren’t feeling it, I won’t push it.

There’s a lot of advice out there.

A lot of… opinions.

While it’s generally a great thing that so many people have access to information and the means to share ideas, it also means that there are a lot of ideas in the ether.

It’s a lot to consider.

Not all of them will be right.

And even if an idea is right, it may not be right for you.

I think that’s worth considering. Just because something is right on paper doesn’t mean it’s right for you.

Not every expert will understand your situation. And you may not even understand what every expert is telling you.

So why follow through with their plan?

There’s a time and a place for diving in, but it’s not always worth it. Especially when you don’t fully understand or feel comfortable with what you’re getting yourself into.

As a coach, I can only know as much as you tell me. I can never fully know how you feel or how you think. That’s why I rely on you to choose your path. I’ll ask you a ton of questions to influence your path, but ultimately, you’re the one taking the steps.

It needs to come from you, not me. Or anyone else.

Feel confident in and committed to the path that you’ve chosen.

Don’t move until you’re ready.
